A Terrible Spell?

But imagine if some terrible spell were to make the caterpillar forget his destiny, or forget who he really is. Imaging that the caterpillar never took steps to make the transformation possible. Imagine that he never ate the proper leaves, nor spun the cocoon. Perhaps he spent the rest of his life simply crawling around and avoiding his enemies, finally dying of starvation or old age. What a loss this would be! We would only hope that something, somewhere, sometime would make the caterpillar remember his true identity and fulfill his true destiny.

Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim teaches people to transform from the caterpillar to a butterfly at her Jung SuWon Academy of Martial Arts. I have personally seen many people choose to transform, and many people that choose to remain the caterpillar. It is your choice. At times it will be hard work, and take sacrifice and commitment towards your own goals, but do you want to be the caterpillar or the butterfly in your life. It is everyone's individual choice.

I love to see others that are really striving to excel and be better. Here is one Jung SuWon student that is learning to deal with the challenges of constant pain and living on coumadin. Here is another student learning God's great gifts to us all.

Look at Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim's demonstrations of mind over matter to give you a insight into what you can achieve in your life. An article from the NY times gives some more insight into this exciting way of life.

The spirit of choosing to become the butterfly can also be fun and exciting. Visit some of these:
